Responsibilities: Perform hearing, vision and other health screeningsTreat students and staff as neededDevelop care plans for students with ongoing conditionsConsult with teachers, school administrators and other school staff regarding student careAdminister medicationMonitor student immunization recordsEducate students and staff on health proceduresCOVID-19 systems as needed Additional duties as assigned by the Principal, COO or their designeeQualifications for School NurseRegistered Nurse (RN) licenseKnowledge of many areas of health including mental healthKnowledge of school laws and policiesAbility to work independently or with othersAbility to communicate well with othersAbility to assess situations and act quicklyBLS/CPR certificationKnowledge of state health regulationsAbility to multitask
