Electrical Foreman – Commercial Construction

Midstate Mechanical LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Foreman to lead electrical field operations on commercial construction projects throughout the Phoenix area. This position is responsible for supervising electrical crews, coordinating daily activities, managing schedules and budgets, and ensuring all installations meet project specifications, electrical codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, supervise, and coordinate electricians, apprentices, and electrical field crews.
• Oversee commercial electrical installations in accordance with project plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
• Plan daily field operations, coordinate manpower, and monitor project schedules and progress.
• Track project budgets, labor productivity, and costs to ensure efficient project execution.
• Coordinate electrical installations with Project Managers, Superintendents, contractors, and other trades.
• Conduct jobsite inspections and enforce OSHA regulations, safety procedures, and quality-control standards.
• Identify and resolve electrical field issues, installation conflicts, and production challenges.
• Utilize project management software for scheduling, reporting, and progress tracking.
• Train, mentor, and support electricians, apprentices, and junior field personnel.

Compensation & Benefits:

$38–$48 per hour, depending on experience (DOE). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid time off, paid holidays, sick time, company vehicle, and gas card.

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Location: Phoenix, Arizona – In-office/field-based position. Remote or hybrid schedules are not available.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Foreman, Electrical Supervisor, or equivalent leadership role in commercial construction.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems, installation methods, and construction practices.
• Thorough understanding of applicable electrical codes, OSHA safety regulations, and quality-control standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, construction drawings, and specifications.
• Demonstrated experience supervising electrical crews, coordinating field operations, and managing project schedules.
• Experience monitoring project budgets, controlling costs, and tracking construction progress.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, contractors, and other trades.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to commute to Phoenix, AZ 85034, or relocate before starting employment if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Electrical trade certification or license.
• Experience using Prolog, Primavera, or comparable construction project management software.
• Experience training and mentoring electricians and apprentices.
