Information Security Coordinator, IT Operations

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Information Security Coordinator, IT Operations based in the United States.

This role offers an opportunity to support day-to-day IT operations while helping maintain a secure and reliable technology environment. You’ll serve as a key point of contact for employees experiencing IT issues and provide hands-on support for equipment, devices, and workplace technology. The position also plays an important role in employee onboarding and offboarding, ensuring IT processes are handled efficiently and securely. You’ll work with common security tools across Windows and Mac environments while balancing technical responsibilities with a strong service-oriented approach. Accountabilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee IT issues, providing responsive and effective technical support.
  • Support employees with equipment, devices, and other day-to-day technology needs.
  • Manage IT-related activities associated with employee onboarding and offboarding.
  • Assist with the administration and coordination of IT operations and related logistical services.
  • Use common information security tools across Windows and Mac environments to support a secure technology environment.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, identify appropriate solutions, and escalate more complex problems when necessary.
  • Maintain a strong customer-service orientation when supporting employees with technology-related requests.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure IT processes and services operate efficiently.
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in IT administration, security practices, and employee technology support.
  • Protect confidential and sensitive information while following established IT and security procedures.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in a relevant field, equivalent professional experience, or a combination of education and experience.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience.
  • Experience working with common information security tools in Windows and Mac environments.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a patient and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to manage IT-related tasks with attention to detail and reliability.
  • Comfortable supporting users with different levels of technical knowledge.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while also managing responsibilities independently.
  • Interest in information technology, security, and effective IT operations.
  • Passion for contributing to a mission-driven organization and making a positive impact through technology.
