Job Description
Cisco Inc. is looking for Loading Dock Technicians to service our growing list of Customers in the Metro-Detroit area. This position would be dispatched from our Dock & Warehouse division located in Grand Rapids. The ideal candidate would be comfortable operating semi-independently. Any door experience would be helpful but not required.
Cisco Inc. has a strict drug-free policy and any position with the company would require a pre-employment drug screen, including marijuana, as well as a physical exam and a background check.
About Our Field Service Technicians:
Our Loading Dock Technicians perform the service, repairs, and installations of new equipment of dock levelers, bumpers, shelters, restraints, seals, rack repair, and various other material handling equipment at customer locations.

Full Time, 1st-Shift | Monday – Friday | Overtime and Weekends Availability Required
* Compensation is based on experience and professionalism, but assume starting wage is $28 - $32/hour.

About Our Field Service Technicians:

Qualifications:
- Have a Valid Driver’s License in Good Standing
- Have a Strong Mechanical Aptitude and Abilities – experience with electrical and/or hydraulics are a benefit
- Proficient with Hand and Power Tools
- Welding Experience
- Have Good Customer Relations Skills with Clear and Concise Language Skills
- Enjoy being part of a Team, but can Work Independently
- Utilize Technology such as a Laptop or Tablet
- Ability to lift 50 pounds due to Lift and Move Functions
- Diagnose and Repair Industrial Equipment Breakdowns
- Communicating Effectively any Needed Repairs with Customers
- Complete Work Orders in a Timely Manner
- Coordinate with Parts and Service Department Daily
- Keep Work Van Clean and Stocked with Necessary Supplies
- Comply with all Safety Procedures within Morrison’s Guidelines
- Consistently and Reliably attend Shift Ready to Work when Scheduled
- Perform any Other Duties as Assigned
