Compensation & Benefits:
- Annual salary range $125,000 to $145,000

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITY: Yes
SUMMARY: Assists in all phases of accounting management and systems.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists with management of all accounting functions including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, general accounting, projects and purchasing.
- Oversees implementation of accounting systems, policies, and procedures.
- Prepares, reviews and approves journal entries.
- Maintains, reconciles, and administrates all general ledger accounts including but not limited to accounts receivable, inventory, deferred revenue, banking and accounts payable.
- Coordinates and ensures accuracy and timeliness of internal and external financial reporting.
- Reviews fixed asset ledgers and ensures all items are properly capitalized and depreciated.
- Assists with coordination of quarterly and annual independent audit, along with preparation of annual tax documents.
- Prepares budgets and forecasts; participates in business planning and analysis.
- Prepares bank reconciliations.
- Assures accurate and timely monthly closing; assists with preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Prepares reports required by regulatory agencies as required, such as: sales and use taxes and corporate income taxes.
- Assists with special projects as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or equivalent.
- Four to six years’ related experience and/or training.
- Three to four years’ experience working with outside auditors and agencies for 10Q/10K, sales taxes and other areas of accounting.
- Working knowledge of forecasting and financial reports.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret economic conditions and anticipate the impact on the organization.
- Basic competence in duties and tasks of supervised employees.
- Working knowledge of data collection, data analysis, evaluation, and scientific method.
- Ability to work with all levels of management.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
- Proven leadership and business acumen skills.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and motivate subordinates.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office modules and knowledge of CSI (Infor) is a plus.
