This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Administrative Estimator based in the United States.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team supporting sales, design, estimating, and project delivery activities within the electronic physical security industry.
The role combines administrative coordination, proposal development, estimating support, and customer-focused collaboration.
You will help prepare accurate proposals and cost estimates for projects ranging from high-volume, straightforward work to larger, multi-site initiatives.
Working closely with sales teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders, you will help ensure projects are clearly scoped and commercially competitive.
The position also provides exposure to access control, CCTV, and other physical security technologies.

- Prepare accurate and professional proposals using standardized company or customer templates, ensuring all required information is complete and clearly presented.
- Review project plans, specifications, and drawings to understand project scope, requirements, and deliverables.
- Assist with cost estimates for small, high-volume, low-complexity projects and contribute to estimates for larger, more complex, multi-site projects.
- Support the preparation and administration of installation projects throughout their life cycle, including project setup in financial and project management systems.
- Collaborate with sales teams to gather project information, clarify requirements, and ensure proposals align with customer expectations.
- Work with internal teams to address account- or project-specific requirements and maintain accurate proposal and estimate information.
- Use estimating tools and software to calculate basic material, labor, and overhead costs.
- Maintain organized records of proposals, project scopes, customer information, and other documentation required for reporting and follow-up.
- Act as a central source of information by maintaining, communicating, and distributing proposal and estimating details according to internal and customer requirements.
- Support quick-turn proposal requests and consistently work toward established deadlines and priorities.
- Communicate with vendors to obtain current material pricing and other information needed for estimates.
- Develop an understanding of access control, CCTV, and other electronic physical security systems to support accurate and competitive estimates.
- Contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused team environment and perform additional duties as required.
- High school diploma, associate degree, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales support, administrative support, estimating, project coordination, or a related field.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with sales, estimating, design, vendors, and other internal teams.
- Strong customer service mindset and awareness of customer needs and satisfaction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Willingness and ability to learn estimating software, processes, and electronic physical security technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple small tasks efficiently, prioritize deadlines, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Competitive annual salary of $55,000–$65,000, with actual compensation varying based on location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and other factors.
