This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Paid Media Account Manager based in the United States.
This is a remote-first opportunity for a strategic paid media consultant who combines deep channel expertise with strong analytical and client-facing skills.
You’ll own paid media strategy across channels such as Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, and Programmatic.
The role centers on using large, diverse datasets to uncover opportunities and translate insights into measurable business outcomes.
You’ll act as a trusted advisor to clients, building relationships and connecting marketing performance to their broader business goals.
You’ll collaborate closely with SEO, analytics, engineering, and account teams to develop integrated, data-driven strategies.
You’ll also mentor colleagues and champion the practical use of AI to improve workflows, testing, and client results.

- Develop and lead paid media strategies across Paid Search, Paid Social, Display, Programmatic, and other relevant channels, collaborating with SEO and broader marketing disciplines to drive measurable client growth.
- Consult directly with clients to understand their business objectives, identify opportunities through data, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that improve traffic, conversions, revenue, and overall business performance.
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships, positioning yourself as a strategic business partner and extension of each client’s team.
- Own day-to-day campaign strategy and management, ensuring recommendations are grounded in paid, organic, and broader performance data.
- Use large and diverse datasets to inform keyword research, ad copy, landing page recommendations, campaign optimization, testing, and performance analysis.
- Prepare and lead client presentations that clearly communicate performance, strategic recommendations, business impact, and opportunities for continued growth.
- Partner with team leads and account teams to foster collaboration, improve service delivery, and provide advanced problem-solving support.
- Mentor and motivate Associates, helping them develop their paid media expertise and deliver high-quality work.
- Identify opportunities to incorporate AI and emerging technologies into workflows, campaign management, analysis, and strategic planning, while sharing successful approaches with the broader team.
- Stay ahead of changes in paid media, search, machine learning, AI, tools, technologies, and data sources, proactively identifying opportunities to test and innovate.
- Leverage insights from SEO, Social, Analytics, and other disciplines to develop holistic, integrated paid media strategies.
- Contribute to industry knowledge through internal education, webinars, articles, case studies, speaking engagements, or other thought-leadership activities.
- Progress toward independently managing a full book of business, with expectations to support clients within the first 30 days, contribute to at least two impactful client initiatives by 60 days, and operate at full capacity by 90 days.
- Demonstrated experience managing paid media campaigns across multiple advertising platforms and management environments, including Paid Search and Paid Social; Programmatic experience is a strong plus.
- Experience working with both ecommerce and lead-generation businesses, with the ability to adapt strategy to different business models and objectives.
- Strong hands-on paid media expertise combined with a consultative, value-based approach to client management.
- Demonstrated ability to use data to identify opportunities, solve complex marketing challenges, and make actionable recommendations.
- Strong understanding of how paid media integrates with SEO, Social, Analytics, and other marketing channels to create holistic growth strategies.
- Advanced data literacy and comfort working with Excel, Google Suite, data visualization tools, and large or complex datasets.
- Ability to recognize opportunities for deeper analysis and effectively collaborate with Data Analysts, Engineers, and other technical specialists.
- Strong knowledge of emerging paid media trends, technologies, machine learning, AI, and evolving search behaviors, with an enthusiasm for experimentation and innovation.
- Experience testing new strategies and taking calculated risks to improve campaign performance.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and client communication skills, with the ability to explain complex findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine commitment to client success.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multidisciplinary teams in a remote-first environment.
- Proactive, adaptable, curious, and results-oriented mindset, with a willingness to challenge assumptions and continuously improve.
- Passion for sharing knowledge and elevating colleagues through mentoring, presentations, educational sessions, written content, or industry participation.
- Candidates must be based in the United States and able to work continental U.S.-based hours.
- Annual salary: $80,000–$100,000, with final compensation determined based on skills and experience.
- Compensation is evaluated at least annually.
