Senior Accountant in Tempe, Arizona at S.I.N. 360

Description
We are looking for talented team members with drive, ideas, and a passion for helping our customers succeed to shape the future of S.I.N. 360 The Senior Staff Accountant will work with our internal and external accounting and H.R. services firms to manage the month-end process and payroll.
The accounting leader will report to the Controller and work closely with the organization's Chief Financial Officer and leaders to analyze and reconcile accounts and develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and controls.
The ideal candidate possesses a solid operational and technical accounting background and works proactively to drive results. This person is a self-starter, flexible, has a high level of integrity, and is action and goal-oriented in a fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Overview
Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Staff Accountant is a critical financial leader in the organization responsible for the management of a combination of financial functions including but not limited to:

Responsibilities
• Serve as a business partner for department functions and senior leaders.
• Facilitate month-end process.
• Manage commissions process.
• Timely preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Provide accurate and timely reports for performance monitoring.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable Review.
• General Accounting Support.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in positions of increasing responsibility.
• Bachelors in accounting, finance, or business.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desired Qualifications:
• QuickBooks accounting software.
• Fishbowl inventory management software
• Strong analytical skills with proven proficiency in financial modeling and experience manipulating large data sets from various sources, interpreting data trends, and extracting business insights.
• The ability to listen actively and ask relevant, incisive questions and confident, independent thinking that communicates an analytic point-of-view to finance and business partners.
• Customer-focused mindset with the energy and desire to effectively collaborate and influence across a fast-growing organization.
• Strong Financial reporting capabilities.
• Spanish or Portuguese
