Weโre looking for a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) to join our compounding pharmacy team. In this role, youโll help prepare and dispense compounded medications, including antibiotics and inotrope therapies, while supporting the accuracy, sterility, safety, and timeliness of patient-specific prescriptions.
๐งช What Youโll Do๐ Prepare & Compound Medications
Accurately prepare, stage, and compound IV and other sterile medications under pharmacist supervision and in accordance with USP <797> and <800> standards.
๐งผ Maintain a Safe & Sterile Environment
Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and compounding tools, and assist with routine surface, environmental, and end-product testing.
๐ Keep Documentation Accurate
Complete required paperwork, verify calculations, prepare prescription and batch labels, and maintain accurate records for compounded products, formulations, and controlled substances.
๐ฆ Manage Inventory & Supplies
Monitor medication and supply inventory, restock materials, complete monthly expiration checks, and report expired items.
๐ฌ Support Quality Assurance
Assist with laboratory testing, validation runs, and aseptic-technique verification to help ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Support patient information entry, records management, phone communication, and coordination with nursing agencies, laboratories, physicians, and other departments.

High school diploma or GED required
๐ Associate degree preferred
โ
2โ5 years of relevant experience
๐ Experience in home infusion, compounding, or specialty pharmacy preferred
๐ป Experience with pharmacy information systems such as CareTend or equivalent preferred
๐
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) โ required in the state of practice; PTCB certification preferred.
