We're seeking a commercially minded Business Growth Insight Manager to provide market, client and competitor intelligence that helps drive sales growth across our sectors.
Working closely with our Group Sector Directors and business development teams, you'll deliver actionable insight on market opportunities, pipeline development and competitor activity, enabling informed decision-making and supporting the delivery of ambitious growth plans.
This role is ideal for someone who combines strong analytical capability with a genuine understanding of business development, sales growth and commercial strategy. We're looking for someone who can move beyond data and research to provide meaningful recommendations that influence business decisions and deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
About the Role
As Business Growth Insight Manager, you'll play a key role in helping the business identify opportunities, understand market dynamics and strengthen its competitive position.
You'll gather, analyse and interpret information from a range of sources to provide practical commercial insight that supports sector growth plans, client acquisition, account development and strategic decision-making.
Working across multiple markets and sectors, you'll become the trusted source of intelligence that helps our leaders make informed decisions and focus investment where it will have the greatest impact.
Key Responsibilities
You'll:
· Analyse market, sector, client and competitor intelligence to identify growth opportunities and risks.
· Provide regular insight and recommendations to Sector Directors and senior leaders.
· Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities across our sectors.
· Support the development and delivery of sector growth plans through evidence-based insight.
· Identify opportunities for new client acquisition, account growth and cross-selling activities.
· Produce client, market and competitor profiles to support business development activity.
· Support lead generation through market segmentation, targeting and opportunity analysis.
· Develop meaningful dashboards, reports and growth indicators that support commercial decision-making.
· Analyse client feedback and customer experience data to identify opportunities for retention and growth.
· Lead the business CSQ process and utilise insights to support growth and manage commercial risk.
· Present complex information in a clear, concise and actionable way to senior stakeholders.
· Challenge thinking and planning through the effective use of market and sector intelligence.
About You
You'll be a commercially focused insight professional who enjoys turning information into action and influencing business decisions.
Essential Experience
· Experience in a commercial insight, business intelligence, market intelligence or growth-focused role.
· Experience gathering, analysing and interpreting market, client and competitor intelligence.
· Experience supporting sales growth, business development or commercial planning through insight-driven recommendations.
· Experience producing reports, dashboards and management information that support business performance.
· Proven ability to translate complex data and information into practical business actions.
