Job Description

Charge Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Work location: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231

Work hours: PRN/As needed, Night shifts (7p-7a) Weekend and Holiday requirements

Here's What You Need
  • Nursing Diploma Nursing Required Or
  • Associate's Degree Nursing Require Or
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
  • 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. Required
  • 2 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting. Preferred
  • 2 Years Experience as a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Department
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Required And
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Upon Hire Required And
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required And
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days Require And
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Required And
  • TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course 6 Months Required Or
  • ATCN - Advanced Trauma Care Nurse 6 Months Required
  • A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
