HOTEL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

R. Zieg Hospitality is seeking a dependable, hands-on Hotel Maintenance Technician to support EVEN Hotel and Fairfield Hotel, keeping both properties safe, attractive, and operating smoothly. This hourly position performs routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and guest-room maintenance while providing prompt, courteous service.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Complete routine maintenance and repairs throughout both hotels.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest-room maintenance requests.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Complete preventive maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Inspect rooms, equipment, and hotel areas for maintenance needs.
• Repair furniture, fixtures, doors, locks, lighting, and hotel equipment as assigned.
• Keep maintenance work areas, tools, and supplies clean and organized.
• Assist with hotel improvement and renovation-related projects as needed.
• Follow hotel safety, security, brand, and company standards.
• Communicate maintenance concerns and completed work to hotel leadership. QUALIFICATIONS
• Previous maintenance experience preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of building repairs, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC is helpful.
• Able to troubleshoot and complete basic repairs independently.
• Dependable, organized, and able to prioritize daily work across both hotels.
• Professional and courteous when interacting with guests and coworkers.
• Able to lift, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform the physical duties of the position.
• Flexible availability, including some weekends and holidays.
