Job Overview

The Snow Tube Park Team Member helps provide a safe, fun, and positive experience for guests visiting the Seven Oaks Snow Tube Park. This outdoor, high-energy position assists with the operation of the tubing lanes and handle tow system while maintaining safe loading, unloading, and tubing areas.

Team members interact directly with guests, provide instructions, monitor tubing activity, maintain snow conditions, check tickets, and assist with daily setup and maintenance of the park. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, interacting with people, and staying active throughout their shift.

Essential Job Functions

Snow Tube Park Operations & Guest Safety

• Greet guests in a welcoming, positive, and professional manner.
• Provide clear instructions regarding tubing procedures, park rules, and safe use of the tubing area.
• Safely control the flow of guests and tubes down assigned tubing lanes.
• Ensure guests are properly positioned in their tubes before being dispatched.
• Assist guests with entering and exiting tubing lanes and runout areas.
• Assist guests with loading and unloading the conveyor surface lift.
• Monitor tubing lanes and runout areas to ensure guests have safely cleared the area before dispatching the next tuber.
• Perform lane speed and condition checks as directed to ensure tubing lanes are operating safely.
• Enforce Snow Tube Park rules consistently and professionally.
• Check guest tickets and/or passes as required.
• Monitor changing weather, snow, and tubing conditions and promptly communicate safety concerns to the supervisor or manager.

Rope/Handle Tow Operations

• Assist guests on and off handle tow as needed.
• Become knowledgeable of operational, safety, emergency, and equipment procedures related to handle tow operations.
• Monitor load and unload areas and assist with maintaining safe guest flow.
• Perform routine safety inspections of handle tow load and unload areas.
• Maintain load and unload areas by shoveling, raking, and removing excess or uneven snow as necessary.
• Immediately report equipment concerns, unsafe conditions, or operational issues to management.
• Become familiar with Seven Oaks' skiable terrain, facilities, and operations in order to accurately answer guest questions.

Park Maintenance & Equipment

• Maintain smooth and safe tubing lanes and operational areas using shovels, rakes, and other appropriate tools.
• Remove snow chunks, debris, and other potential hazards from tubing lanes, lift areas, and guest traffic areas.
• Assist with daily setup and tear-down of the Snow Tube Park, including fencing, signs, pads, barriers, tubes, and other equipment.
• Inspect tubes, lifts, fencing, signage, and other Snow Tube Park equipment and report damaged or improperly functioning equipment.
• Assist with projects such as fencing installation or repair, sign replacement, snow removal, and other operational needs.
• Use shovels, rakes, electric drills, and other appropriate tools as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Guest Service & Teamwork

• Provide exceptional guest service in a friendly, courteous, and enthusiastic manner.
• Answer guest questions and provide information about Seven Oaks Recreation, its facilities, and available activities.
• Work cooperatively with other team members and departments to provide a positive guest experience.
• Rotate between assigned Snow Tube Park positions and responsibilities throughout the shift.
• Remain attentive and safety-focused while working in a busy, noisy, and fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate dependability and the ability to perform assigned duties with limited supervision.
• Assist with other duties and operational projects as assigned.

• Age Requirement: Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must be dependable, trustworthy, responsible, and safety-conscious.
• Must have a friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with guests, coworkers, supervisors, and management.
• Ability to understand and follow operational and emergency procedures.
• Ability to recognize potential safety hazards and respond appropriately.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when necessary.
• Ability to remain alert and attentive in a fast-paced outdoor environment.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Work is performed primarily outdoors in winter weather conditions, including cold temperatures, snow, wind, ice, and other potentially extreme conditions.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to move quickly and with agility when necessary.
• Must be able to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, shovel, rake, and perform repetitive physical tasks.
• Must be able to pull and maneuver snow tubes and other equipment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Must be physically capable of performing outdoor work for several hours at a time.
• Employees are responsible for having appropriate clothing and personal gear necessary to remain safe, alert, and comfortable while working outdoors in varying winter conditions.
• The Snow Tube Park can be a busy and noisy environment requiring continuous awareness of guests, equipment, and surrounding activity.
