The Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce exists to strengthen Colorado's economy by supporting businesses, developing leaders and creating opportunities for our region to thrive.
B:CIVIC connects businesses around corporate social responsibility, philanthropy, volunteerism and community impact. In this role, you’ll help turn that shared interest into meaningful experiences while also supporting the delivery of the Civics Bee event.

A thoughtful welcome, a well-run event and a timely response can make the difference between someone attending once and staying engaged. You’ll help create that experience for B:CIVIC members and the participants, speakers, volunteers and partners involved in our programs.
Reporting to the Vice President of Programs, you’ll bring organization and follow-through to work with many moving parts. If you enjoy building relationships, solving practical problems and seeing a plan come together, this role offers a direct way to contribute.
What You'll Own
- CoordinateB:CIVIC programs and events, including the annual Lead with Impact Summit, along with Civics Bee event logistics.
- Build clear event plans and coordinate venues, vendors, registration, accessibility arrangements and on-site needs.
- Welcome new B:CIVIC members and connect current and prospective members with relevant resources and opportunities.
- Partner with program leadership and membership staff to support participation, recruitment and retention.
- Keep committees and volunteers organized through clear meeting materials, assignments and follow-up.
- Prepare program communications and help speakers, facilitators and partners arrive informed and ready.
- Maintain accurate records, support expense tracking and use participation data and feedback to recommend improvements.
What You'll Bring
- Two or more years of relevant experience in programs, events, membership services, nonprofit administration or community engagement.
- A bachelor’s degree oran equivalentcombination of education and relevant experience.
- Strong organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage several deadlines and adapt when plans change.
- Clear communication, sound judgment and a welcoming approach to working with members and partners.
- Comfort with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace and learning program databases and event tools.
- Availability for occasional early mornings,eveningsor extended hours in support of events.
Experience with a chamber, association, nonprofit or corporate social responsibility program is helpful, as is familiarity with committees, volunteers or member engagement tools.

Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $60,000 to $70,000 annually
