Job Description
CTG is seeking to fill a Epic Behavioral Health Lead position for our client.
Location: San Mateo, CA
Duration: 3 months
The Epic Behavioral Health Coordinator/Lead provides application leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for Epic Behavioral Health and related Ambulatory applications. This role is responsible for leading a team of Epic analysts while balancing ongoing operational support, optimization, and strategic implementation priorities.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience leading and developing Epic application analysts and has successfully led an end-to-end Epic implementation focused on Behavioral Health, from planning and design through build, testing, training, go-live, and stabilization. This individual serves as a trusted partner to Behavioral Health and Ambulatory operational and clinical leadership and works collaboratively across technical, clinical, and enterprise teams to deliver safe, effective, and sustainable Epic solutions.
Key Leadership Responsibilities
- Lead and provide direction to the Epic Behavioral Health/Ambulatory analyst team.
- Coach and mentor analysts, promote professional development, and build team expertise and accountability.
- Establish priorities and resource plans across operational support, enhancements, optimization, and project work.
- Lead major Behavioral Health Epic initiatives through the complete implementation lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary application leadership contact for Behavioral Health stakeholders.
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to define future-state workflows and technology strategies.
- Coordinate with other Epic application teams to ensure integrated, end-to-end workflows.
- Identify risks, dependencies, and barriers and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate governance and prioritization decisions across the Behavioral Health/Ambulatory portfolio.
- Provide escalation leadership for complex application, workflow, and implementation issues.
- Drive continuous improvement, application optimization, and adoption of Epic functionality.
- Ensure implementation and operational activities align with organizational standards, clinical priorities, patient safety, and strategic goals.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $90 to $95 hourly. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
