This role sits at the intersection of business development, education, and ecosystem growth, focused on expanding the adoption of structured training and certification programs that empower users to succeed on a global financial infrastructure platform. The Business Development Manager will play a key role in connecting learning solutions with enterprise and digital-native customers, ensuring training becomes a core driver of product activation and long-term success. You will work across sales, solutions, and partner teams to embed education into customer journeys and influence how organizations adopt and scale technology. This is a strategic, impact-driven role where success is measured not just in revenue, but in learner growth, certification adoption, and ecosystem enablement. You will also act as an internal advocate for training programs, helping shape go-to-market strategies and enterprise engagement models. The position is ideal for someone who combines commercial acumen with a passion for user success and scalable education programs.
- Drive adoption of training and certification programs by identifying opportunities to integrate learning offerings into enterprise and SMB customer journeys.
- Analyze sales pipelines and attach training solutions to strategic opportunities to improve onboarding, activation, and product adoption outcomes.
- Build and scale a certification champions program by identifying and enabling power users to become advocates and case studies.
- Engage directly with enterprise clients to demonstrate the long-term ROI of workforce certification and structured learning adoption.
- Partner with internal sales, solutions, and product teams to position training as a core component of customer success and platform value.
- Develop ROI and value models to quantify the impact of training on activation speed, product adoption, and operational efficiency.
- Act as a key internal evangelist for training programs, enabling field teams to effectively position learning solutions in deals.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in business development, enablement, partnerships, or channel sales within SaaS or technology environments.
- Proven success in achieving or exceeding acquisition-based or usage-based targets such as users, seats, or certifications.
- Strong experience engaging enterprise stakeholders and presenting to both technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders without direct authority.
- Deep customer-centric mindset with a focus on driving user success and product adoption.
- Strong analytical skills with experience building ROI models or value-based business cases.
- Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced, matrixed organizations with complex go-to-market motions.
