You will act as a trusted advisor, building strong relationships with clients and key referral partners such as realtors, builders, and financial planners. Working in a highly entrepreneurial environment, you will manage your own pipeline, develop new business opportunities, and grow a personal mortgage portfolio. The role combines autonomy with structured support, including coaching, training, and access to established tools and systems to help you succeed. You will operate in a fast-paced, client-facing setting where relationship-building and consultative selling are essential. - Develop and manage a strong pipeline of mortgage opportunities through referrals, networking, and direct prospecting
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships by providing tailored mortgage solutions and trusted financial advice
- Identify and engage key referral sources such as realtors, builders, and financial professionals to expand business opportunities
- Execute end-to-end mortgage sales processes, from initial consultation through to closing and funding
- Use sales management tools and CRM systems to track performance, manage leads, and optimize conversion rates
- Collaborate with sales leadership and participate in coaching, joint calls, and ongoing performance development
- Stay informed on mortgage products, credit policies, and market trends to deliver accurate and competitive solutions
- Proven experience in sales, business development, or mortgage/financial services roles
- Strong track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive, client-facing environment
- Deep ability to build trust and maintain long-term client and partner relationships
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and manage a self-directed pipeline
- Knowledge of retail banking, credit adjudication, or mortgage lending is highly preferred
- Post-secondary education is considered an asset
