Front Desk Coordinator

We are a growing pediatric dental office dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to children and their families. We pride ourselves on creating a welcoming, positive, and fun environment for every patient who walks through our doors.

Position Overview

The Pediatric Front Desk Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients and families, playing a key role in delivering an exceptional patient experience. This role is responsible for managing the front office, supporting scheduling and administrative functions, and ensuring a smooth flow throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and families with a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor

  • Check patients in and out efficiently while maintaining accuracy

  • Schedule appointments and manage the daily schedule to optimize patient flow

  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and assist with patient needs

  • Verify insurance eligibility and update patient information

  • Collect payments, co-pays, and balances

  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

  • Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth transitions between front and back office

  • Manage appointment confirmations and follow-ups

  • Support overall office organization and cleanliness of the front area

Qualifications
  • Prior dental or medical front office experience preferred (pediatric experience a plus)

  • Experience with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) preferred

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Basic understanding of insurance verification and scheduling preferred

  • High attention to detail and organization
