At Richardson Sports, we foster an environment of inclusion, collaboration, and work-life balance. We are seeking a Temporary Bilingual Human Resources Generalist (Spanish/English) to provide hands-on HR support across a broad range of human resources functions.

This is a full-time, temporary position and is ideal for an HR professional who is comfortable working across multiple areas of HR and supporting employees and leaders in a fast-paced environment.

Fluency in both Spanish and English is required for this position.

JOB BRIEF

The Human Resources Generalist will provide day-to-day HR support across the employee lifecycle, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, benefits and leave administration, HR compliance, training, safety, and employee engagement.

This position will serve as an HR resource for employees and managers and will work closely with leadership and the broader HR team to support consistent HR practices and a positive employee experience.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as a day-to-day HR resource for employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR policies, procedures, and workplace matters.
  • Support employee relations matters, including employee concerns, workplace issues, investigations, coaching, and corrective action.
  • Recruit, screen, interview, and assist with employee selection for open positions.
  • Coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.
  • Support performance management processes, including coaching, documentation, and employee development.
  • Assist employees with benefits, leave, and other HR-related questions.
  • Support the administration of company policies and procedures and help ensure consistent application across the workforce.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR documentation.
  • Assist with HR compliance and ensure practices align with applicable employment laws and company policies.
  • Support training and development initiatives for employees and supervisors.
  • Assist with workplace safety initiatives and maintaining company safety standards.
  • Support employee engagement, recognition programs, and company events.
  • Participate in job fairs and other recruiting or community outreach activities as needed.
  • Partner with managers and employees to promote positive working relationships and address workplace concerns.
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Perform other related HR duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English, with the ability to effectively communicate with employees in both languages.
  • Previous Human Resources experience with exposure to multiple HR functions.
  • Working knowledge of general HR practices and employment-related policies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee matters professionally and confidentially.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Experience working in a generalist capacity supporting multiple areas of HR.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, recruiting, benefits, leave administration, and performance management.
  • HRIS experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Individuals need to sit or stand as needed. The position requires walking primarily on level surfaces periodically throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder height, below the waist, or lifting may be required to file documents, retrieve materials, or perform other routine duties.
