Woodland Animal Hospital is growing!

• We are looking for a few great veterinary technicians to join our fabulous team.*

This role will receive up to $1500 Sign on Bonus (less taxes) for Experienced (3+ years) Veterinary Technician. The sign on bonus will be paid after 90 days of employment.

Note: Should you decide, in the first 24 months of employment, to leave the company, you will be required to repay the bonus, reduced by 1/24 for each month of employment.

A successful candidate would be comfortable with basic vet tech skills such as:

• IV catheter placement
• Blood draws
• Anesthesia induction/maintenance/monitoring
• Surgical prep, radiographic positioning

Other important skills include:

• Basic veterinary wellness/ medical knowledge
• Capability of thriving in a team environment
• Outstanding client communication and service skills

Upbeat and positive attitude required.

Full Time Position consisting of three 10-hour weekday shifts and one weekend shift.

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All of our clients are required to wear a mask. Curbside is our main source of service. All common surfaces are regularly sanitized. PPE Provided

Physical Effort: Often requires lifting and carrying materials weighing up to 50 lbs. and perform routine veterinary medical procedures (i.e. collect samples, draw blood, administer vaccines, place catheters, etc.). Frequently requires handling of materials up to 20 lbs. Additionally, handle and restrain dogs weighing up to 150 lbs. Walking and/or standing for long periods. Frequently works in a bent position. May be required to use strength or agility in capturing and restraining stronger, more active animals.

Working Conditions: Work is normally performed inside; some outside work is required. Exposure to unpleasant odors and noises. Exposure to bites, scratches and animal wastes. Possible exposure to contagious diseases.
