GENERAL SUMMARY
-
The Manager, Employee Experience is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving programs and strategies that enhance the employee life cycle from orientation through career development and engagement. This role provides leadership for performance management, learning and development, employee engagement, recognition, and workforce culture initiatives. The Manager partners with leaders across the organization to foster a high-performing, inclusive, and values-driven workplace that supports employee growth, engagement, retention, and organizational success. Reports to department leadership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization's performance management programs, processes, and tools to support a culture of accountability, development, and recognition.

Oversee the administration of annual performance reviews, goal-setting processes, talent development discussions, and manager training related to performance management.

Develops and executes learning and development strategies that support organizational priorities, leadership development, employee growth, succession planning, and workforce capability building.

Conducts organizational learning needs assessments and works with leaders to identify skill gaps and recommend targeted development solutions.

Oversee and partner on the design, delivery, and evaluation of employee education programs utilizing instructor-led, virtual, on-demand, and blended learning methodologies.

Develop and manage employee engagement strategies, surveys, focus groups, action planning processes, and related initiatives to improve employee satisfaction, retention, and workplace culture.

Partners with organizational leaders analyze engagement and workforce data, identify trends, and develop solutions that enhance employee experience.

Oversee employee recognition programs and initiatives that reinforce organizational values, reward performance, and strengthen employee connection to the mission.

Collaborates with Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Communications, and operational leaders to align employee experience initiatives across the organization.

Establishes metrics and reporting to evaluate effectiveness, utilization, and return on investment of employee experience, learning, engagement, and performance management programs.

Manages and partners on vendor relationships, program budgets, and technology platforms supporting learning, engagement, recognition, and performance management activities.

Leads, manages, coaches, and trains a team or department, provides guidance, support, and mentors to ensure optimal performance and productivity.

Oversees the recruitment, hiring, team/department orientation, performance appraisals and disciplinary actions including up to termination processes for a team or department.

Implement organizational development initiatives including succession planning.

Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
-
Required Education and Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education, Psychology, or related field required.
-
Seven (7) years of progressive experience in employee experience, talent management, learning and development, organizational development, human resources, or related disciplines required.
-
Three (3) years of leadership or management experience with responsibility for program development, implementation, and staff supervision required.
-
Experience designing and leading employee engagement, performance management, or workforce development initiatives required.
-

Preferred Education and Experience
-
Master’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Leadership, or related field.
-
Healthcare industry experience.
-
Experience administering learning management systems (LMS), engagement survey platforms, and performance management technologies.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Comprehensive knowledge of performance management, talent development, adult learning principles, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.

Strong leadership, coaching, change management, and relationship-building abilities.

Ability to influence organizational leaders and drive strategic workforce initiatives.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret employee feedback, workforce metrics, and program outcomes.

Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective presentations, training programs, and educational materials.

Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HR-related systems and technologies.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound professional judgment.
