About This Position
POSITION SUMMARY
The Case Manager (CM) will provide workforce services for referrals received from CPLC’s Keogh Health Services that are from the Valley of the Sun United Way (VSUW) Mighty Families program. In addition, the CM will also provide services for the VSUW Pathways to Economic Opportunity (PEO) for Black and Latina Young Women as defined by the scope of work for this program. This program gives Black and Latina Young Women in the Phoenix area resources to close the wealth gap, by providing job skills training, financial literacy workshops, work experiences, and upskilling, as well as access and knowledge to small businesses. Additionally, the CM will also provide support to the WIOA Youth & Young Adult program as determined by the Assistant Director, Workforce Solutions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
• Associate’s Degree or High School Diploma or equivalent with at least one year of case management experience preferred.
• Proficiency with computers, common office equipment, and MS Office products required.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, problem-solving, analytical skills, multi-tasking, organizational skills and time management.
• Able to work a 40-hour a week schedule per program needs/requirements.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
