Construction Program Coordinator - Temp with State of NM at ATA Services Inc – Santa Fe, New Mexico

ATA Services Inc is currently seeking to hire a Program Coordinator to work on a temporary assignment with the State of New Mexico. The position is located in Santa Fe.

• $35 per hour with weekly pay
• 40 hours per week
• Located in Santa Fe
• Start Date: ASAP - September 25th with potential for more work if funding is extended.

SUMMARY

The Department of Finance and Administration (DFA) is hiring a Program Coordinator to support recovery work under the Emergency Watershed Protection Program (EWPP) for the Hermits Peak and Calf Canyon fires in San Miguel and Mora Counties. This role focuses on organizing projects, coordinating vendors, managing contracts, and overseeing payments.

KEY DUTIES

• Organize and track project schedules, tasks, and deadlines.
• Maintain clear records and keep teams updated on progress.
• Request and compare quotes from contractors and vendors.
• Ensure purchases follow all required rules and guidelines.
• Draft and manage contracts for construction and consulting services.
• Draft and manage Request for Proposals, Invitations to Bid, Request for Quotations
• Monitor deadlines, deliverables, and contractor performance.
• Handle change orders and contract updates as needed.
• Review contractor invoices for accuracy.
• Coordinate with finance staff to ensure timely payments.
• Resolve billing issues as they arise.
• Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings to share project status and address concerns.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience organizing projects and working with vendors.
• Knowledge of procurement and contract management.
• Skilled in reviewing invoices and handling payments.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
