Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation (CMH) is recruiting an Activities Assistant to care for our residents in Colonial Springs Healthcare Center

The skilled nursing facility is a 134-bed facility located in Buffalo, MO that includes a 34-bed memory care units for individuals with Alzheimer's disease and dementia.

A typical day will include: The opportunity to develop a relationship with our residents and dynamic co-workers. The Activity Assistant is an integral part of the healthcare team who is responsible for providing excellent care to the residents in the facility through fun and innovative activities. This position assists in a variety of duties as assigned by the Activity Director including leading group and individualized activities, inviting and assisting residents in appropriate activities, document resident’s activity progress every 90 days and taking steps to ensure resident safety during activities. The activity assistant will complete an Activity Interest Survey within 14 days of resident admission. This is the most fun job you will ever have!
