Clinical Supervisor at Chicanos Por La Causa – Los Angeles, California

POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Supervisor provides group and individual clinical supervision to registered associates (MSW, MFT and APCC) in compliance with scope of practice restrictions. The Clinical Supervisor monitors the quality of care of clients and acts as the point person for clinical consultation as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

Education /Background:

• Must have Master or Ph.D, PsyD and be Licensed.
• Must be in good standing with the BBS.
• Certification in TF-CBT, Seeking Safety, or MAP is a plus.
• For CPP Supervision: Be Certified in CPP and registered in the CPP National Registration.
• Completion of 15-hour mandatory supervisor’s training.
• 2 years post-license experience required and able to provide clinical supervision.

Other Requirements:

• Knowledge of DMH systems of care.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with multiethnic/cultural clients and communities.
• Excellent documentation and clinical skills.
• Proven ability to follow-up and meet deadlines.
• Excellent initiative, flexibility, and stress-management in handling the demands of leadership.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, especially Microsoft teams).
