This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working at the intersection of healthcare policy, operations, and technical implementation. You will play a key role in ensuring policy configurations and client-specific requirements are accurately implemented across healthcare payment systems. Working closely with implementation teams, medical directors, and clients, you’ll help drive smooth project execution, issue resolution, and operational consistency. The position combines analytical problem-solving with cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced remote environment. You’ll contribute to projects involving policy configuration, validation testing, and workflow coordination while supporting continuous operational excellence. - Configure and validate client-selected policy sets, mappings, and tables to ensure accurate implementation according to project specifications.
- Support implementation teams and medical leadership with policy configuration questions, issue resolution, and technical research during client onboarding processes.
- Review testing and production files to verify policies are functioning as expected and proactively identify potential issues or discrepancies.
- Manage project timelines and coordinate deliverables to meet operational deadlines while communicating risks or delays to stakeholders.
- Attend policy committee meetings, document decisions, and facilitate follow-up communication regarding client-specific policy outcomes.
- Assist with payer data copy projects, E&M overcode initiatives, payer terminations, and clinical chart validation mapping activities.
- Collaborate effectively across teams within a matrix organization while maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Contribute to special projects, continuous process improvements, and additional operational initiatives as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or at least 1 year of equivalent relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of CPT, ICD, HCPCS coding systems, and basic medical terminology.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and client stakeholders.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities with confidence in handling project coordination tasks independently.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within team-based or matrixed environments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
- Comfortable working under pressure and adapting to frequent change while maintaining accuracy and productivity.
- Ability to maintain a dedicated remote workspace with secure high-speed internet access.
- Competitive hourly compensation ranging from approximately $25.50 to $32.50 per hour
