Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains a variety of hard surface floors and materials, including carpet and upholstered furniture.
• Safe operating of cleaning equipment and preparation of cleaning chemicals.
• Application of correct cleaning procedures and chemicals.
• Maintains established preventive maintenance procedures on all equipment as required.
• Participates in process improvement activities.
• Performs duties specific to cleaning, stripping, and polishing floors and carpet and upholstery cleaning.
• Performs daily cleaning activities for floors including sweeping, vacuuming, dust mopping, and mopping.

Qualifications

• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Must be able to relate to others with courtesy and tact under normal as well as stressful conditions.
