Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Lead in Canada.
This role is a high-impact opportunity to own the full customer journey across acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion within a fast-growing SaaS environment. You will design and execute end-to-end lifecycle strategies that directly influence revenue, engagement, and customer value. Working at the intersection of marketing, product, and data, you will build highly targeted, behavior-driven campaigns across multiple channels including email, SMS, in-app messaging, and sales sequences. This is a hands-on position where execution matters as much as strategy, requiring someone who can both build and optimize complex lifecycle programs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate customer insights into scalable automation and personalized experiences. The environment is fast-paced, data-driven, and highly experimental, with strong emphasis on iteration, testing, and measurable outcomes. You will also leverage modern AI tools to enhance efficiency, insight generation, and campaign performance.
- Own and continuously optimize the end-to-end customer lifecycle, identifying key drop-off points, behavioral triggers, and opportunities for growth
- Design, build, and execute multi-channel lifecycle campaigns across email, SMS, in-app messaging, drip flows, and sales sequences
- Develop segmentation strategies and run A/B tests to improve activation, retention, expansion, and churn reduction outcomes
- Translate customer behavior and product usage data into actionable lifecycle strategies in collaboration with data and revenue operations teams
- Partner with Growth, Product Marketing, and Content teams to test messaging, creative assets, and conversion strategies across touchpoints
- Own lifecycle reporting and performance analysis using tools such as HubSpot, Amplitude, GA4, and Pendo, turning insights into optimizations
- Drive experimentation and automation to improve engagement, pipeline contribution, and customer lifetime value
- 4+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, email marketing, or marketing operations in a SaaS startup environment
- Proven experience building and optimizing full-funnel, cross-channel customer journeys
- Hands-on ability to execute campaigns end-to-end, not only strategy or planning
- Experience supporting both product-led and sales-assisted growth motions, including onboarding, activation, upsell, and retention programs
- Strong proficiency with lifecycle tools such as HubSpot, Amplitude, Pendo, Customer.io, or similar platforms
- Deep understanding of segmentation, experimentation, and lifecycle testing methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate behavioral data into marketing actions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve workflow efficiency, content creation, and campaign optimization
- Bonus: HubSpot certification, HTML knowledge, or experience with predictive modeling and SMB growth funnels
- Competitive base salary of $110,000 – $120,000 CAD, with potential for additional compensation based on experience
- Flexible remote-first work environment across Canada
- Paid time off including flexible PTO, monthly extra days off, and company-wide holiday shutdown
- Strong health and dental coverage, with enhanced employer contributions depending on region
- Retirement savings plan with employer matching
- Parental leave program designed to support growing families
- Home office setup stipend, internet and phone allowance
- Annual company retreat and ongoing learning & development opportunities
- Weekly pay schedule and additional wellness-focused perks.
