MAIN FUNCTION
The Development Manager – Miami Campus is a frontline fundraising professional responsible for building and advancing a philanthropic culture at Albizu University’s Miami campus. This role leads to donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship while managing alumni engagement initiatives that strengthen long-term institutional support.
Working under a centralized development strategy, this position serves as the primary development representative in Miami, engaging donors, alumni, and community stakeholders. This is a results-oriented role requiring an entrepreneurial mindset to build relationships and generate philanthropic revenue in a growing market. This position is responsible for helping build Albizu’s donor pipeline in the Miami market from the ground up, including identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual, corporate, foundation, and alumni prospects.

BENEFITS – Albizu University offers a competitive benefits package, subject to applicable plan documents, eligibility requirements, and institutional policies.
- Vacation Leave: Accumulation of 11.25 hours per month for employees who work 120 hours or more.Sick Leave: Accumulation of 11.25 hours per month for employees who work 120 hours or more.Holidays: Approximately 18 paid holidays per year, based on the academic calendar.
Certain benefits begin on the first day of the month following 90 days of employment, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements:
- Medical Insurance: participation in the group medical plan; the institution contributes $3,600.00 annually to the insurance premium. Retirement Plan: Employer contribution of 5% of annual base salary. Life Insurance: Coverage equal to two (2) times the annual base salary; Optional supplemental coverage available.
