Pay Range: $83,156.00 - $117,458.00 per year

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.

Job Overview:

The Clinical Informatics Specialist I under the direction of the Informatics Manager integrates clinical science with multiple information management and analytical sciences to identify, define, manage, and communicate data, information, knowledge, and wisdom in clinical practice.

The Clinical Informatics Specialist I supports nurses, consumers, patients, the interprofessional healthcare team, and other stakeholders in the use of technology to support clinical care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or other clinical licensure program
  • 3+ years of clinical experience

Certifications and Licenses Required:

  • RN or Clinical Licensure in NJ

Preferred:

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Undergraduate Degree in a clinical field preferred
  • Epic Clinical Informatics Accreditation/Certification, Nursing ANCC, and/or HIMSS certifications preferred

Essential Functions:

  • Activities include but are not limited to collaborating with customers and other IT team members to partner to define problems
  • Participates in the design, development, implementation, education, and evaluation of technology in clinical areas
  • Responsible for advocacy, identification of issues, documentation, and escalation of issues
  • Work with individuals of other professions to maintain a climate of mutual respect and shared values
  • Communicate with patients, families, communities, and professionals in health and other fields in a responsive and responsible manner that supports a team's approach to the promotion and maintenance of health
