Job Title: Compliance & Quality Assurance Specialist

Employment Type: Full-Time, 40 hours/week

Reports to: Compliance Director

FLSA Status: Exempt

Opportunity:

The Compliance & Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring organizational adherence to internal compliance policies, regulatory requirements, and quality assurance standards across customer service, sales, marketing, live events, and training initiatives. This role develops and supports compliance training programs, reviews and approves marketing and operational materials, conducts quality assessments and audits, and collaborates cross-functionally to foster a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and facilitate compliance training programs, workshops, and educational materials for employees and independent contractors.
  • Ensure all marketing materials, advertisements, product claims, scripts, and communications comply with applicable SEC, FTC, FCC, FDACS, consumer protection, and state advertising regulations.
  • Review and approve internal and external collateral, including brochures, emails, social media content, websites, and sales materials to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Monitor and assess customer service, phone sales, live events, and educational classes to ensure adherence to company quality and compliance standards.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews, audits, inspections, and evaluations to identify compliance risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze call reviews, survey results, secret shopper reports, and audit findings to provide actionable feedback and recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of training activities, quality reviews, compliance metrics, and audit results; prepare reports for management as needed.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, marketing, sales, and operational teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay current on changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards that impact company operations and training initiatives.
  • Implement and support best practices related to customer data protection, privacy laws, and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) security.
  • Support problem-solving and corrective action efforts by identifying compliance or quality concerns and recommending practical solutions.
  • Promote a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement through communication, coaching, and engagement initiatives.
  • Participate in weekly company and departmental meetings to provide updates and support ongoing compliance initiatives.
  • Utilize compliance and project management tools, including Asana and Microsoft Office, to track and report performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, quality assurance, risk management, regulatory affairs, or a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of SEC, FTC, FCC, FDACS, consumer protection, privacy, and advertising regulations.
  • Experience conducting compliance reviews, audits, quality assurance assessments, and employee training initiatives.
  • Proficiency in AI Prompt Engineering, AI-Assisted Data Analysis, AI-Powered Productivity and Workflow Automation, AI Content Creation and Communication, AI Literacy and Responsible AI Use
  • Strong understanding of customer service, sales, marketing, and operational compliance practices.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across departments and leadership levels.
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Asana, and other compliance or reporting tools.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and integrity.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
