Job DescriptionJoin Our Team

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Therapist to provide evidence-based therapeutic support for individuals navigating complex mental health, trauma-related challenges, and emotional well-being.

About SABI Mind

SABI Mind was founded to address the growing need for more effective, human-centered approaches to mental health care. As a clinician-led organization, we are redefining how people heal by combining evidence-based therapeutic care with innovative, integrative treatment pathways that bridge mind, body, and environment.

Our philosophy is rooted in human connection — it is people healing people. Every member of our team shares a commitment to providing care that is personalized, trauma-informed, and deeply collaborative, blending established therapeutic approaches with emerging insights in neuroscience, behavioural medicine, and somatic integration.

At SABI Mind, innovation isn’t about technology for its own sake — it’s about using modern tools and insight to help people reclaim their capacity for resilience, clarity, and connection.

How You Can Help and What We Can Accomplish Together

As a SABI Mind Therapist, you will be an integral member of our interdisciplinary team, providing therapeutic support and guidance to individuals experiencing complex trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. Your ability to build meaningful therapeutic relationships and tailor your approach to each individual will help clients develop practical skills, build resilience, and work toward lasting, meaningful change.

Together, we can redefine what effective mental health care feels like.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conduct client intakes and assessments to understand individual needs, concerns, and therapeutic goals.

  • Provide individualized therapeutic services using evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's presentation.

  • Develop and implement treatment plans that support emotional well-being, personal growth, resilience, and recovery.

  • Utilize appropriate therapeutic modalities and approaches, such as CBT, ACT, EMDR, mindfulness-based practices, and other relevant interventions within your scope of practice.

  • Support clients navigating trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, stress, and other mental health concerns.

  • Monitor client progress and adapt therapeutic approaches as needed to support meaningful outcomes.

  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.

  • Collaborate with physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team to support continuity of care.

  • Participate in case discussions and contribute to a collaborative, client-centered treatment environment.

  • Maintain professional boundaries and adhere to applicable ethical, legal, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Registered and in good standing with the applicable professional regulatory body for your discipline and province of practice.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapeutic services to adults experiencing mental health challenges, including trauma, mood disorders, and anxiety.

  • Demonstrated experience with trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

  • Strong ability to establish therapeutic rapport and maintain a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment.

  • Excellent assessment, communication, and clinical judgment skills.

  • Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to clinical risk, including suicidality, psychosis, and dissociation, within your scope of practice.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain accurate clinical records.

  • An interest in collaborative, integrative mental health care and a willingness to work within an interdisciplinary team.

  • Understanding of the ethical, legal, and professional standards governing your practice.
