Sanitation Team Member in FEDERAL WAY, Washington at E&E Foods Inc

E&E Foods is launching a search for a Sanitation worker at our Federal Way WA plant. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of tasks that include cleaning and sanitizing all production machinery and equipment throughout plant including conveyor belts, screens, filters, fryers, pipes, walls, totes, rollers, tables, and freezers, and ensure proper cleaning procedures are followed.

The successful candidate will:

A successful candidate is someone who can learn quickly, think independently and cooperate with coworkers in a fast-pace, diverse work environment. We are looking for hard workers who have the ability to stand for long period of time while occasionally having to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Job Duties and Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Able to work overtime and weekends
• Ability to work in fast paced environment
• Work as part of a team and individually to complete tasks
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to lift and or move up to 50lbs frequently
• Previous sanitation experience is a plus
• Previous food manufacturing experience is a plus
• Must be reliable, dependable, and hardworking
• Adheres to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors/leads

SALARY & BENEFITS:

· The wage range is $20.00 to $21.57 per hour

WORK ENVIRONMENT and LIVING LOCATION:

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions; extreme cold and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
