Job Summary

Centex Roofing is seeking a motivated, hands-on Roofing Market Manager to support and oversee our growing Austin/San Antonio market. This is a field-forward leadership role designed for someone who wants to learn our systems, develop management skills. The Market Manager will work closely with the Director to oversee multiple roofing technicians, manage daily operations, and ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction. This role requires time both in the office and in the field—supervising repairs and completing repairs, assisting with hands-on training, and learning how to run a profitable multi-family roofing operation from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and support multiple roofing technicians across the Austin/San Antonio marketSupervise roofing repairs in the field to ensure quality, safety, and efficiencyPerform roofing repairs as needed alongside techniciansWrite and present repair proposals and estimatesTrack and review job profitability and assist with profit/loss reportingEnsure jobs are completed on time and within budgetCommunicate with customers, technicians, and managementLearn Centex Roofing systems, processes, and management expectations

Qualifications

Roofing and construction experience requiredTo be perfectly comfortable in elevated environmentsLeadership or supervisory experience strongly preferredComfortable working in the field and on job sitesAbility to read, write, and explain repair proposalsBasic understanding of job costing, profit tracking, or willingness to learnStrong communication and organizational skillsReliable transportation and valid driver’s licenseSelf-motivated, coachable, and growth-oriented mindset

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

This role combines field and office work. The Roofing Service Manager must lift materials, climb multiple stories, and work outdoors in varied weather. They must follow proper safety practices and wear PPE to minimize hazards. The position requires managing stressful situations, occasional long or weekend hours, frequent travel by car, and regular use of a personal cell phone.
