Job Description

About Elita

Elita is the world's first longevity platform for pets, powered by biology. Think Function Health meets Flo meets Oura ring, for pets. We combine biological data, clinical histories, and owner-captured observations to drive preventative care, earlier risk detection to result in more good years with the animals people love most.

We're an early-stage, growing fast, and backed by Side Stage Ventures, Archangel, M8 Ventures, Startmate, and XA Network.

Our team is in the office 5 days a week in our beautiful Brunswick space, with easy access to pat beautiful dogs while you work.

The Role

This is a hands-on growth marketing role with real ownership and being able to set the direction from the earliest stages in our company. You'll work directly with the CEO, who sets the brand and GTM strategy, and alongside our Growth Associate, who owns organic social and organic growth.

Your patch is everything else that drives acquisition: paid channel acquisition, affiliates, creator partnerships, referral loops, and the cultural moments we can ride. You'll test channels, learn fast, double down on what works, cut what doesn't, and find new ways to push.

This isn't a content role, it isn't a growth engineering role, it's a problem-solving role. Some weeks you'll be standing up an affiliate programme, other weeks you'll be running paid experiments, closing a creator partnership, or spotting a cultural moment and working out how Elita earns a place in it. The highest-leverage channel will shift, and you need to be energised by that, not threatened by it.

What You'll Do

  • Take the CEO's GTM strategy and execute against it; testing channels, measuring results, iterating fast.
  • Chase qualified signups, not vanity reach & double down on what converts and cut what just looks good.
  • Build and run our affiliate and creator programmes; finding partners who actually fit (not just the biggest), structuring deals that convert, and building relationships that compound over time.
  • Understand culture and how we penetrate it; where our people already are, what they care about, and how a brand earns its way in without being cringe.
  • Build and optimise acquisition funnels, referral loops, and paid experiments across Meta, Reddit, Google or any other channels you think can reach our ICP
  • Own email campaigns and flows across the full customer lifecycle, plus the in-app prompts and notification copy that bring people back.
  • Balance the quick brand hits with the long game; gamify signups now so we earn the room for the bigger brand plays later.
  • Turn what works into a repeatable playbook the rest of the company can run with.
  • Partner closely with the Growth Associate so paid, affiliate, and organic compound each other rather than run in parallel.
  • Work with the CEO to shape channel budgets based on what the data tells you. You'll have a lot of room to move.

A Day in the Life

9:00am: You're in the office. You check yesterday's numbers — an affiliate's first conversions landed, and the paid A/B test you set up ran overnight. One's working, one's not. You kill the underperformer and note what to try next.
10:00am: Quick sync with Paloma. She shares a new positioning angle. You riff on how to test it across affiliates and paid this week, and flag it to the Growth Associate for organic.
11:00am: You spend an hour building a landing page variant using AI tools. It's ugly but functional. You ship it to start collecting data.
12:30pm: Lunch. You pat Edgar Allan Paws. Non-negotiable. Maybe chat to our scientist Tom about the golf app he's vibe-coding on the side.
1:30pm: You've spotted a creator whose audience overlaps perfectly with Elita's. You draft the outreach, send it, and move on.
2:00pm: You onboard a new affiliate — set up their links, brief them properly, make sure they've got what they need to actually convert.
2:30pm: Quick call with the Growth Associate to line up the affiliate push and this week's organic campaign behind the same moment, so they hit together.
4:00pm: You dig into this week's acquisition data. One channel is quietly outperforming. You put together a quick case for doubling spend and flag it for tomorrow's sync.
5:30pm: You queue up the week's experiments, update the tracker, and head out.

You're Our Person If

  • You have a few years in growth marketing, ideally in startups. If you're escaping a bigger company, we get the appeal, just know this is scrappy and hands-on. No roster of agencies to lean on, so you'll need to show us you can actually run the channels yourself.
  • You have some experience running paid campaigns yourself, not via agencies across Meta, Reddit, Google & more.
  • You've run email marketing before; campaigns and lifecycle flows, not just one-off sends.
  • You understand macro culture in marketing - where our people are, what moves them, and how & when brand have shown up without being cringe - and bring ideas on how you will (or have) done the same.
  • You're creative and analytical - you don't have to be a copywriter or a designer but you'll chase a wild idea, then prove it or kill it with data; and you can smell a vanity metric a mile off.
  • You build systems, not one-offs. When something works, you turn it into a playbook the rest of the team can run with.
  • You get that growth runs on trust; you'd take the unexpected partner who actually fits over the obvious big name every time.
  • B2C or D2C brand experience is preferred but not a must.
  • If you haven't used a channel or a tool before, your attitude is "I can figure that out today" and not "someone else will have to do this".
  • You love brand but you're not precious about it and you can land a quick brand hit this week and still play the long game.
  • You have an unhealthy bias towards action, and you're a creative nerd, the type to vibe-code an idea two hours after you have it.
  • You're AI literate and obsessed with pushing these tools to their limits.
  • You get a genuine dopamine hit from executing your own ideas, and you're energised by ownership and ambiguity.
  • You are energised working in person with a small team at the very early stages of our journey.

Who This Suits

You've done this before in a couple of growth, marketing, or GTM roles behind you. Enough that you know what you're doing and don't need hand-holding. Maybe you're leaving a big corporate and itching to dive into the startup world and understand how it's faster, less red tape, less meetings about meetings but also doing more by yourself, less or no documentation or playbooks yet.
Either way you will crave ownership and want in at the ground level with a company & product that excites you.
We'll tweak your compensation based on where you're at.

This Role Is NOT

  • A pure brand seat. You can love brand like we do but you are here to drive signups now, not just live in a beautiful deck.
  • A place where "artistry" outranks impact.
  • A slow-paced corporate ladder.

Compensation & Growth

Salary = Dependent on experience and in line with market for our stage, we'll land on the right number based on what you bring, with room to grow as we scale.
Equity = You'll own a part of Elita through our Employee Share Option Plan (ESOP). As the company grows, so does the value of your shares.
Growth = Skills & ownership you won't get in a traditional growth role or a corporate environment, you'll be across every part of a growing startup, from R&D to operations, marketing, and beyond.
Your Profile = Build your own name while you build ours. We back our people to be visible, speaking, posting, sharing the work, so your profile grows as Elita does.
The Dog Factor = Help millions of pets live longer, healthier lives & and 10x your YoY dog-patting frequency.
