Job Description

Principal Product Management, Growth

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Principal Product Management, Growth based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to own a high-impact growth portfolio and shape how users discover, adopt, consume, and expand their use of a leading B2B SaaS platform.
You will define multi-quarter growth strategies spanning acquisition, activation, monetization, self-serve conversion, and sales-assisted journeys.
Working closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Analytics, and executive leadership, you will turn data and experimentation into measurable revenue outcomes.
You will establish a rigorous experimentation culture, balancing rapid weekly tests with longer-term portfolio investments and unit economics.
The role also sits at the forefront of AI-driven discovery, including LLM-first experiences, agent-readable product surfaces, and emerging distribution channels.
You will influence pricing, consumption models, PQL routing, onboarding, lifecycle experiences, and other mechanisms that directly impact growth and revenue.
This is a highly strategic and hands-on opportunity for a senior product leader who can combine analytical depth, commercial judgment, technical fluency, and exceptional execution.

Accountabilities
  • Own a portfolio-level growth surface end-to-end, from acquisition and first impression through signup, activation, consumption, monetization, expansion, and sales-assist signals.
  • Define entry points, activation milestones, monetization moments, upgrade experiences, lifecycle touchpoints, and self-serve journeys across the portfolio.
  • Develop and communicate multi-quarter growth strategies, identifying which channels and initiatives should be scaled, rebalanced, or retired based on performance and unit economics.
  • Establish a disciplined experimentation operating rhythm, defining hypotheses, success metrics, invalidation signals, and learning frameworks while driving multiple experiments per sprint.
  • Analyze funnel performance independently, segment cohorts, identify conversion and retention opportunities, and translate findings into measurable product changes.
  • Design and optimize consumption-based monetization mechanics, including free experiences, credit economics, gating strategies, upgrade prompts, and PQL triggers.
  • Partner with Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to align pricing, acquisition, lifecycle engagement, customer expansion, and sales routing with broader business objectives.
  • Lead the development of self-serve product experiences, including landing pages, signup flows, onboarding, empty states, paywalls, upgrade interfaces, lifecycle communication, and in-product prompts.
  • Shape the organization's approach to AI-first discovery, including LLM-readable experiences, AI-assisted onboarding, emerging agent channels, MCP-based distribution, GEO, and AEO.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and GTM leaders to rapidly prototype, test, launch, evaluate, and iterate on growth initiatives.
  • Present growth strategies, funnel performance, monetization decisions, and investment recommendations to senior executives and other business leaders.
  • Establish operating frameworks, experimentation standards, retrospectives, and best practices that can be adopted by the broader Growth Product Management organization.
  • Hire, mentor, and calibrate senior product managers while raising the quality and consistency of growth product practices across the team.
  • Maintain a strong learning culture by documenting successes and failures, updating assumptions based on evidence, and ensuring insights compound across future initiatives.
Requirements
  • 8–12 years of product management experience, including at least 4 years focused specifically on growth, product-led growth, lifecycle, monetization, or self-serve products.
  • Demonstrated direct ownership of a significant growth loop or portfolio, with measurable responsibility for revenue, activation, consumption, conversion, or expansion outcomes.
  • Experience presenting growth strategies, funnel analysis, monetization decisions, or investment recommendations to senior executives such as CEOs, CROs, CFOs, or boards.
  • Proven experience hiring, mentoring, developing, or calibrating senior product managers and establishing a high bar for product execution.
  • Strong hands-on product-building mindset, with experience shipping landing pages, signup flows, onboarding experiences, in-product experiments, paywalls, pricing experiences, or lifecycle journeys.
  • Deep understanding of full-funnel growth metrics, including activation, time-to-value, retention, consumption, upgrade rates, expansion, and PQL quality.
  • Strong experimentation expertise across A/B testing, multivariate testing, holdouts, pre/post analysis, and other structured approaches, including experimentation with smaller or segmented cohorts.
  • Advanced analytical skills and the ability to independently work with data and SQL, including querying platforms such as Snowflake without relying heavily on analysts.
  • Working knowledge of consumption-based pricing, credit economics, freemium models, monetization mechanics, and product-qualified lead frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of modern PLG distribution and emerging AI-driven discovery channels, with informed perspectives on LLM-first discovery, agent-readable experiences, MCP, GEO, and AEO.
  • Marketing fluency across SEO, paid acquisition, content, and lifecycle marketing, with the ability to collaborate with these functions as a strategic peer.
  • B2B SaaS experience is required; experience in data, go-to-market, sales technology, or related domains is advantageous.
  • Exceptional strategic communication skills, with the ability to translate complex product, funnel, and monetization concepts into clear business recommendations.
  • Strong commercial judgment, analytical rigor, curiosity, and willingness to challenge assumptions and change direction when evidence warrants it.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams without relying on formal authority and thrive in a fast-paced, experimentation-driven environment.
Benefits
  • U.S. base salary range of $151,900–$238,700 USD.
  • Additional compensation may include bonus, commission, and equity, depending on the position and applicable compensation structure.
  • Comprehensive employee benefits designed to support overall well-being.
  • Holistic mind, body, and lifestyle programs supporting employee and family well-being.
  • Opportunity to own a portfolio-level growth function with direct influence on revenue and business performance.
  • Regular exposure to senior executive leadership and cross-functional business leaders.
  • Opportunity to shape the organization's growth product management practices and mentor future product leaders.
  • Work at the intersection of B2B SaaS, AI-driven discovery, product-led growth, self-serve monetization, and consumption-based business models.
  • A fast-paced environment that emphasizes experimentation, measurable outcomes, rapid learning, and continuous iteration.
  • Equal opportunity workplace committed to diversity, inclusion, and fair employment practices.
