Receptionist Job Description
We are looking for an Office Coordinator to join our growing team. The Office Coordinator will provide prompt, courteous service to customers on the phone and/or in person. They will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to all clients, visitors, and other guests of the company.
Job Location: Onsite/In Office @ South Jordan, UT Office
Compensation: $17.00 to $18.00 per hour (DOE)
Benefits: Part-time, no benefit package; eligible for Wellness Program, Mental Health Program, 401-K Plan.
Job Specifics:
- Greets clients, visitors, and guests; determines the purpose of each person’s visit and directs or escorts him or her to the appropriate location.
- Ensure high-quality customer service.
- Ensure a smooth flow of customers calling in and directed to the correct department.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls; take messages and schedule appointments.
- Check-in visitors and log their activity in the building.
- Receives mail, documents, packages, and courier deliveries and delivers or distributes items.
- Responsible for packages both incoming and outgoing.
- Keep the reception area tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials (e.g. pens, forms, and brochures).
- Performs administrative and clerical support tasks.
- Performs basic filing and recordkeeping.
- Performs other duties as assigned by management.
- Ensures breakroom is stocked with snacks, drinks and essentials
- Help with holiday events and office activities, including scheduling monthly birthday lunches
- Experience handling multiple phone lines.

Education and Experience:
- Experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or other similarly related role/job.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk and listen; occasionally stand and walk; use hands and fingers, as well as reach with hands and arms; lift up to 35 pounds; and other physical duties associated with the job.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time position; the hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. as job duties demand.
