The Position: Dishwasher/Stocker Part-time position
Salary range: $15.00 per hour PAY GRADE 1

General Purpose: Washing dishes with commercial dishwasher, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning.
Stock merchandise and supplies and assist staff with transporting product between facilities when needed.

Essential duties include but are not limited to:
Performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as but not limited to:

♦ Receive deliveries, unpack boxes, inspect items, and return unsatisfactory or damaged goods.
♦ Acceptable merchandise is organized on shelves and racks or on the floor of the stockroom.
♦ Manual washing dishes, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning.
♦ Stock merchandise and supplies and assist staff with transporting product between facilities.
During the busy season bus tables during lunch and/or events in the evening.
Assist cooks and/or bartenders during catering events.
Responsible for janitorial duties in various dining service areas.

Handling foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards and complies with all federal, state, local regulatory procedures regarding food storage, preparation.

Complete other duties as requested.

Experience/Qualifications:
Knowledge of restaurant operations
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
Must have a valid Florida Driver’s license.
Must have a pleasant outgoing manner and enjoy working with the public
Must be a team player and work well with co-workers.
Must be organized and follow directions of manager and/or designee.
Must have a command of the English language (reading, writing, and speaking)
Must be well groomed and have good hygiene habits.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
