Sr. Manager, Revenue Cycle Management Insurance Transformation, Testing & Automation (TTA)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Manager, Revenue Cycle Management – Insurance Transformation, Testing & Automation (TTA) based in the United States.

This senior leadership role is designed for an experienced revenue cycle professional who can drive transformation through technology, automation, and operational excellence.
The position will serve as a key connector between Revenue Cycle Operations, Technology, Finance, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable improvements.
The successful candidate will lead testing strategies, workflow optimization, automation initiatives, and governance frameworks that improve efficiency and financial performance.
This role requires a balance of strategic vision, hands-on execution, and strong leadership across complex healthcare operations.

Accountabilities:

The Sr. Manager will oversee transformation initiatives across revenue cycle operations, ensuring successful system enhancements, automation programs, and process improvements. This role will provide strategic direction while managing execution, governance, and collaboration across multiple teams.

  • Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for revenue cycle system implementations, upgrades, and enhancements, ensuring solutions meet operational, technical, and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee test strategy development, execution, validation, documentation, and audit readiness for billing, claims, payer workflows, and related processes.
  • Manage testing governance, including tollgate reviews, sign-off processes, post-implementation assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Own and manage centralized Jira-based work intake processes, ensuring operational requests are prioritized based on business impact, ROI, compliance needs, and strategic objectives.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable user stories while supporting backlog management, sprint planning, and delivery tracking.
  • Monitor project performance, service levels, workflow efficiency, and delivery outcomes across transformation initiatives.
  • Develop and execute the revenue cycle automation roadmap, identifying opportunities for RPA, AI-driven solutions, workflow optimization, and technology-enabled improvements.
  • Partner with technology teams, analytics groups, and vendors to implement scalable automation solutions and ensure successful adoption.
  • Measure and validate financial impact, including cost savings, efficiency improvements, productivity gains, and return on investment.
  • Build forecasting models and executive reporting that demonstrate realized value and future opportunities.
  • Establish governance frameworks that improve prioritization, accountability, communication, and execution across revenue cycle initiatives.
  • Lead and mentor teams supporting testing, analytics, automation, and transformation activities.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a strategic and operational leader with deep revenue cycle management expertise, strong technology understanding, and a proven ability to deliver transformation initiatives in complex healthcare environments.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle Management, healthcare operations, or related transformation-focused roles.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end revenue cycle workflows, payer processes, billing operations, and healthcare systems.
  • Proven experience managing User Acceptance Testing programs, system implementations, and operational technology enhancements.
  • Experience using Jira or similar work management platforms for intake, prioritization, and project tracking.
  • Demonstrated success leading automation, process improvement, and operational optimization initiatives.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience measuring savings, ROI, productivity improvements, and business impact.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across operations, technology, finance, and executive teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical and operational concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
  • Strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities and a focus on measurable outcomes.
  • Experience with RPA tools such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere, AI-based automation solutions, or workflow technologies is preferred.
  • PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement certifications are a plus.
  • Experience within large healthcare organizations, revenue cycle vendors, or complex operational environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or related healthcare technologies is beneficial.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
