As an Analista DBA, you will be responsible for ensuring database reliability, security, and operational efficiency while supporting critical business systems. You will work independently on complex challenges, contribute to improvements, and help maintain high standards across database environments.
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain database environments following industry best practices.
- Manage and optimize Oracle database platforms, ensuring availability, performance, and scalability.
- Monitor database environments, analyze alerts, and proactively address operational risks.
- Perform troubleshooting, incident management, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Implement performance improvements through SQL analysis, tuning, indexing strategies, and database optimization.
- Manage backup, restore, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
- Support database security initiatives, including access management, auditing, vulnerability remediation, and hardening practices.
- Develop and maintain automation routines using scripting and database tools to improve operational efficiency.
- Participate in technical projects, evaluating solutions, estimating costs, and supporting implementation.
- Maintain technical documentation, procedures, standards, and operational guidelines.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and management teams to ensure effective solutions.
- Continuously improve internal processes by applying market frameworks and best practices.
The ideal candidate has strong experience managing enterprise database environments, with a focus on Oracle technologies and high-availability systems. You should have strong analytical skills, technical ownership, and the ability to operate effectively in critical environments.
- Solid experience as a Database Administrator, with proven experience supporting Oracle databases in corporate and high-availability environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database administration, including:
- Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, RMAN, backup, restore, and recovery processes.
- Performance tuning, SQL analysis, execution plans, waits, locks, sessions, and indexing.
- Tablespaces, datafiles, archivelogs, FRA, jobs, users, roles, and profiles administration.
- Oracle patching, upgrades, maintenance, and lifecycle management.
- Experience with database security, access control, auditing, and hardening practices.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and command-line environments.
- Experience with Shell Script and/or PL/SQL for automation and operational support.
- Ability to monitor database capacity, availability, and performance indicators.
- Experience handling critical incidents and performing root cause analysis.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset, ownership mentality, and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Higher education degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields.
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager or Oracle GoldenGate.
- Knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Ansible, Python, or related technologies.
- Experience working with cloud environments, virtualization, or enterprise infrastructure.
- Oracle certifications such as OCA, OCP, or other database, Linux, cloud, security, or IT service certifications.
