Senior Product Manager, Salesforce and Digital platforms

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Salesforce and Digital Platforms based in Canada.

Accountabilities:

As the Senior Product Manager, Salesforce and Digital Platforms, you will own the vision, roadmap, and continuous improvement of Salesforce and related digital platforms. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring solutions are aligned with user needs, business objectives, and long-term platform strategy.

  • Own the Salesforce product roadmap from discovery and prioritization through delivery, adoption, and continuous optimization.
  • Translate business requirements from sales, operations, marketing, and customer-facing teams into clear user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria.
  • Manage product backlogs and sprint planning in close collaboration with developers and engineering teams.
  • Drive platform adoption through effective change management, communication, and user enablement strategies.
  • Define success metrics and KPIs for platform initiatives and use data insights to guide product decisions.
  • Evaluate new platform capabilities and releases to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with UX and design teams to create consistent and intuitive user experiences across digital touchpoints.
  • Apply product management principles across additional customer-facing platforms, portals, and SaaS solutions where needed.
  • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user discovery activities to inform platform strategy.
  • Gather and analyze feedback from users, stakeholders, and business teams to continuously improve solutions.
  • Use AI-powered tools to accelerate research, documentation, analysis, prototyping, and product workflows.
  • Evaluate emerging AI capabilities within enterprise platforms and determine when to build, buy, or enable solutions.
  • Communicate product vision, priorities, and progress clearly to technical teams, business leaders, and executive stakeholders.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a product leader with strong Salesforce expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively between business and technology teams. You should be comfortable owning complex platforms, driving strategic initiatives, and working in a fast-paced environment.

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, including at least 2 years directly managing a Salesforce environment.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Salesforce core platforms, including Sales Cloud and Experience Cloud.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with senior Salesforce developers and understand technical architecture, integrations, and platform capabilities.
  • Proven experience managing product roadmaps, backlogs, prioritization frameworks, and delivery cycles.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to define problems, prioritize initiatives, and measure outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, sales, marketing, and executive stakeholders.
  • Professional experience using AI tools to improve productivity, research, analysis, and decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambitious, fast-moving environment with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.

Nice to have:

  • Salesforce certifications such as Administrator, Platform App Builder, Sales Cloud Consultant, or Service Cloud Consultant.
  • Experience with Salesforce integration patterns and connected enterprise systems.
  • Experience managing platforms beyond Salesforce.
  • Background in fintech, lending, mortgage technology, or financial services.
  • Experience with UX research, customer journey mapping, or user experience optimization.
