Shipping & Receiving / Order Fulfillment Spec in Prague, Oklahoma at HR Group LLC Companies

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Job Description: Shipping & Receiving / Order Fulfillment Specialist to support daily warehouse operations, including incoming shipments, outgoing orders, international logistics, and close coordination with our production team—both domestic and international. This role is essential to ensuring a smooth and accurate flow of materials through the warehouse and maintaining strong customer delivery performance.

Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Order Fulfillment

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders according to packing lists and shipping requirements.
• Generate shipping labels, commercial invoices, and documentation for domestic and international shipments.
• Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, freight forwarders, customs brokers) to schedule pickups and optimize shipping costs.
• Manage export requirements including customs declarations, Harmonized Tariff Codes, certificates of origin, and compliance regulations.
• Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, customs holds, or exceptions.

Receiving

• Receive incoming shipments from domestic and international production facilities; verify quantities and inspect for damage or discrepancies.
• Process receiving documentation and update inventory systems accurately.
• Organize and store materials following warehouse layout and safety guidelines.

Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records through proper labeling, bin management, and cycle counting.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, or annual inventory audits.
• Communicate low stock levels or discrepancies to Purchasing and Operations.

Coordination With Production (Domestic & International)

• Work directly with international production teams to ensure timely receipt of finished goods and components.
• Review packing lists, manufacturing documentation, and shipment schedules from global suppliers.
• Support communication between operations, procurement, and international production to resolve shipping issues or delays.

General Warehouse Operations

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist with palletizing, staging, and loading/unloading trucks as needed.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of equipment and PPE.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to efficiency, accuracy, and cost control.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, or order fulfillment.
• Experience handling international shipments, customs documentation, and global logistics preferred.
• Experience working with international production or supply chain teams is a strong plus.
• ERP or inventory system experience (Business Central, Dynamics, Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, etc.).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Office, shipping software, barcode scanners).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of export compliance, tariffs, and global freight processes.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
• Experience in electronics, industrial equipment, manufacturing, or similar industries.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and time zones.
