About This Position
Position Summary
The Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for the accurate receipt, storage, movement, and issuance of raw materials, components, and finished goods within a fast-paced bathtub manufacturing facility. This role ensures materials are delivered to production lines safely, efficiently, and on time to support uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming materials and verify against purchase orders and packing slips
- Inspect materials for damage, quality issues, and proper documentation
- Safely unload, move, and store materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment
- Maintain organized inventory locations for fiberglass, acrylic sheets, resins, hardware, and packaging materials
- Pick, stage, and deliver materials to production lines based on work orders and schedules
- Support production by ensuring timely replenishment of materials to avoid downtime
- Accurately record inventory transactions in ERP or inventory management systems
- Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
- Package and prepare finished bathtubs and components for shipment
- Load outbound shipments in accordance with shipping schedules and safety standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment (5S standards)
- Follow all company safety policies, especially when handling chemicals (resins, solvents) and large molded products
Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of warehouse or material handling experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to read work orders, labels, and shipping documents
Preferred:
- Experience in fiberglass, plastics, or heavy manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., Epicor, Oracle, or similar)

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Good communication skills with production and logistics teams
- Basic problem-solving skills
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with dust, noise, and varying temperatures
