We’re pleased to announce an opportunity for the position of Housing Case Manager (Colville, WA) within the Housing Department.

Location: Colville, WA

Status: Full-Time
Offered Wage Range: $21.65-$23.42 per/hr.

Full Wage Range: $21.65 - $57.73 per/hr.

The full wage range reflects the maximum potential earnings available through long-term progression under the company pay structure and is included to comply with Washington State pay transparency requirements. Hiring offers for candidates are expected to fall within the listed Offered Wage Range.

Position Summary
Provides information, assistance and comprehensive case management services to individuals or families. Assesses needs, develops and monitors implementation of service plans, makes appropriate referrals and serves as a client advocate with other service providers. Service areas could include youth/family/parenting/elder services, employment/training, and emergency/transitional housing. Requires knowledge of related community resources and the laws and regulations specific to the area of service.

Essential Job Functions

· Complete the initial interviews with the client and their family to assess the client's eligibility for services.

· Gather relevant and useful data from the client, family, other agencies, and so on to formulate a housing assessment of the client and his or her family.

· Assists customers to access resources via direct assistance and/or referral.

· Act as a liaison between the client and his or her family and all relevant professionals, programs, and informal resources involved in the overall intervention plan to help the client make his or her preferences known and secure the services needed.

· Provide a wide variety of direct assistance including budgeting, basic life skill and landlord mitigation.

· Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications

Required Education or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in human/social services or related field and two years relevant experience either paid or as a volunteer.

OR

Any combination of education and experience which would provide the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability required to perform the job.

Required Certification and Licenses:

• Valid driver’s license in state of residence.

• Auto insurance in the amount required by the State of Washington.

• Access to reliable transportation.

• Acceptable completion of a criminal history background check.

-Additional training for program specific purposes will be required after hire.

*To support operational needs and compliance requirements, this position is expected to be performed within the State of Washington.
