AIoT Sales Director

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AIoT Sales Director based in United States.

This leadership role will drive enterprise sales across AI, IoT, SaaS, connectivity, and technology-enabled solutions.
You will build strategic relationships with enterprises, critical infrastructure organizations, oil and gas customers, public safety entities, and municipalities.
The position combines consultative selling, partner development, complex deal management, and long-term account growth.
You will engage senior business and technical decision-makers and translate sophisticated technology into clear business value.
With sales cycles ranging from several months to a year, the role requires disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, negotiation, and strategic planning.
You will work closely with sales, product, marketing, delivery, finance, customer success, and executive teams to create profitable growth.

Accountabilities
  • Lead B2B and enterprise sales activities for SaaS, AI, IoT, connectivity, and related technology solutions across targeted U.S. markets.
  • Identify, engage, and cultivate senior decision-makers and strategic partners, positioning solutions around customer business objectives and operational needs.
  • Develop and execute regional and vertical business plans focused on revenue growth, product adoption, customer satisfaction, profitability, and sustainable account expansion.
  • Manage complex technology sales cycles, typically ranging from approximately three months to one year, including discovery, solution positioning, negotiation, and closing.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with technology platforms, security providers, channel partners, and other organizations aligned with business objectives.
  • Pursue and support large, complex, multi-million-dollar opportunities while maintaining disciplined sales execution and commercial focus.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline visibility, opportunity activity, forecasting, and CRM records using platforms such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
  • Partner closely with inside sales, business development, customer success, product, marketing, finance, delivery, and executive leadership to advance opportunities and support customer growth.
  • Visit prospective and existing customers and partners to strengthen relationships, expand solution adoption, and identify additional revenue opportunities.
  • Communicate opportunity status, customer requirements, partner activity, risks, next steps, and expected outcomes clearly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to improve sales execution, partner engagement, customer positioning, and cross-functional processes.
  • Provide ongoing market and customer insight to help inform commercial strategy and solution development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent professional sales experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in regional, vertical, enterprise, or technology sales, with a demonstrated record of achieving or exceeding quotas.
  • Proven experience selling SaaS, AI, IoT, connectivity, or comparable technology solutions to business customers.
  • At least one oil and gas employer, client, project, or professional engagement must be represented on your resume.
  • Demonstrated success communicating, negotiating, and building relationships with enterprise-level customers and strategic partners.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to translate complex technology into business value for engineering, procurement, executive, and other stakeholder groups.
  • Experience pursuing and negotiating large, complex, multi-million-dollar technology opportunities.
  • Ability to develop and execute regional sales strategies within long and complex sales cycles.
  • Experience collaborating with technology and channel partners to develop and close opportunities.
  • Strong relationship-building, presentation, organization, planning, negotiation, CRM, forecasting, and follow-through skills.
  • Experience using Salesforce, HubSpot, or comparable CRM and sales automation platforms.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, adaptability, and the ability to operate effectively in a high-growth, technology-driven environment.
  • Experience selling into critical infrastructure, oil and gas, public safety, municipal, enterprise, or infrastructure-focused markets is highly desirable.
  • Experience in security-focused AI/IoT environments or *aaS business models is a plus.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% to meet customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
