**MUST RESIDE NEAR BLOOMFIELD/SOUTHFIELD AND/OR MACOMB MI**
About the role
As an Infusion RN, you will manage peripheral and central vascular access sites, administer complex specialty biologic and intravenous therapies, and monitor patient outcomes. You will act as the primary clinical touchpoint for our patients—combining top-tier technical vascular access skills with genuine empathy to create a safe, welcoming care experience.
What you'll do
Infusion Administration: Safely mix (when applicable), initiate, monitor, and discontinue intravenous medications, biologics, fluids, and subcutaneous injections following established protocols.
Vascular Access: Demonstrate high proficiency with IV insertion, central line care (PICC, Port-a-Cath, Midlines), line flushes, dressing changes, and blood draws/phlebotomy.
Patient Assessment & Care: Perform comprehensive pre-infusion health assessments, monitor vital signs, evaluate adverse reactions, and intervene promptly according to emergency protocols.
Patient Education: Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, potential side effects, self-care guidelines, and vascular access maintenance.
Documentation & Compliance: Accurately document all care, medication administration, and patient responses in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) in compliance with HIPAA and clinical standards.
Collaborative Practice: Work closely with referring physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacy staff, and intake coordinators to streamline therapy management.
Qualifications
Education & License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Experience: Minimum 2 + years acute care, ambulatory or home infusion nursing, emergency room nursing
Vascular Access Expertise: Proven excellence in peripheral IV starts and central line management.
Certifications: Current BLS required; ACLS and CRNI (Certified Registered Nurse Infusion) or ONS/ONCC certification strongly preferred.
Core Skills: Strong clinical judgment, detail-oriented documentation habits, and a warm, patient-first demeanor.

The pay range for this role is:
38 - 50 USD per hour(Sylvan Lake)
