We are innovative, scaling with purpose, and led by seasoned leaders who know how to build enduring companies. Trusted by brands like Instacart, Western Union, NBCUniversal, ZocDoc, and Sephora, we’re big enough to matter, small enough for you to make a real impact. If you’re excited by the grit of building, rapid learning, and shaping the future of customer growth, you’ll find your place here.
As a Senior Program Manager, Marketing Strategy & Operations at Branch
You will be the glue that holds marketing together, the connective tissue between marketing and the rest of the company, and a direct partner to the VP of Marketing in running her day-to-day operation. You'll own how the team plans, prioritizes, and runs: the calendar, the operating rhythm, the cross-functional programs and launches that move our biggest bets forward, and the events that bring the team together.
You'll also work closely with the VP herself, helping manage her priorities, preparing her for key meetings, and giving her visibility into how the 25-person marketing team (including 8-9 contractors) is structured and resourced as she continues to evaluate the org. This is a high-trust, high-ownership role for someone who loves turning strategy into a plan, keeping a lot of moving parts on track, and making both a leader and a team run better every quarter.
You'll report directly to the VP of Marketing and work across every marketing team, and with sales, product, and RevOps.
As a Senior Program Manager, Marketing Strategy & Operations, you’ll get to:
Partner with the VP
- Help manage the VP's priorities and calendar; prepare her for key meetings (leadership team, cross-functional reviews, exec updates) with briefing materials and follow-up tracking.
- Represent the VP in meetings where appropriate, ensuring context and decisions flow accurately in both directions.
- Support the VP's ongoing assessment of team structure by helping organize visibility into roles, workload, and the contractor mix across the 25-person team.
Own the Operating Rhythm
- Own the marketing operating rhythm: planning cadence, weekly and monthly reviews, quarterly business reviews, and leadership meetings. Keep them focused and moving.
- Build and run one integrated marketing calendar across campaigns, launches, events, and content, so the whole team is working from a single source of truth.
- Drive accountability — track goals and program status, and surface clearly what's on track, what's slipping, and what needs a decision.
Run Cross-Functional Programs & Launches
- Project-manage the biggest cross-functional programs and product launches end to end: scope, timeline, owners, dependencies, risks, and the follow-through that gets them shipped.
- Be the connective tissue across marketing (growth, corporate, product marketing, comms, field, and ops) and with sales, product, and RevOps, so work doesn't fall through the seams.
- Turn strategy into plans, take the VP's priorities and translate them into clear milestones, owners, and timelines the team can run with.
Own Events, End to End
- Plan and execute marketing team events (offsites, team days, all-hands) from vendor selection through on-site logistics, not just calendaring them, but running them.
Budget & Planning
- Support marketing planning and the budget process alongside the VP and Finance: keep the programs budget current, track spend against plan, and flag risks early.
Executive & Leadership Communication
- Prepare leadership and executive materials: QBRs, all-hands, and cross-functional readouts.
Process & Tools
- Find the friction in how the team works and fix the process behind it, not just the symptom.
- Use AI tools to run all of this faster, status rollups, meeting prep, project tracking, and reporting.
You'll be a good fit if you have:
- 5+ years in marketing program management, marketing/business operations, or a program/PMO or Chief-of-Staff-style role, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment.
- A track record running cross-functional programs and launches end to end, on time, across multiple teams.
- Experience supporting a senior leader directly (calendar, meeting prep, priority management) is a strong plus.
- Strong operating instincts, you build cadences, calendars, and processes that make a team run better, and that people actually adopt.
- Excellent project management and organization; you hold a lot of moving parts at once without dropping any.
- Experience planning and executing team events or offsites, including vendor and budget management.
- The ability to work across senior stakeholders and influence without authority.
- Strong written communication, you can produce a crisp executive update and a clear project brief with equal ease.
- Comfort with budgets and planning; you can own a planning process and keep spend on track.
- Fluency with AI and modern work tools to speed up coordination, reporting, and prep.
- High discretion and judgment, this role will have visibility into sensitive team and organizational information.
