This is a high-impact, mission-driven commercial role focused on expanding healthcare technology adoption across Tribal Health ecosystems. You will be responsible for building trusted relationships with Tribal Nations, Urban Indian Organizations, and related healthcare stakeholders, helping them leverage digital tools to improve patient engagement and health outcomes. The role blends strategic business development, consultative selling, and long-cycle partnership building in a highly nuanced and relationship-driven environment. You will operate as a market builder, shaping go-to-market strategy while also owning revenue generation in a defined territory. Success in this role requires cultural humility, deep ecosystem understanding, and the ability to translate complex healthcare technology into meaningful, locally relevant value. You will collaborate closely with product, customer success, and executive leadership to align solutions with real-world community needs. This is a unique opportunity to drive measurable health equity impact while building a new and strategically important market segment.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and growing the Tribal Health market through strategic relationship building, consultative sales execution, and cross-functional collaboration to drive revenue and long-term partnerships.

  • Develop and execute a Tribal Health market strategy across Tribal Nations, Urban Indian Organizations, inter-Tribal partners, and aligned ecosystem stakeholders
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive, clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders across the Tribal Health ecosystem
  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities through direct outreach, partnerships, referrals, and industry engagement
  • Own complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from discovery through contract execution
  • Develop account and territory plans that translate relationship building into qualified pipeline and revenue growth
  • Represent the organization at Tribal Health, Indigenous health, and public health conferences and ecosystem events
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Engineering, Customer Experience, Marketing, Legal, and Finance) to ensure alignment on customer needs and feasibility
  • Provide market insights to shape messaging, pricing, product direction, and go-to-market strategy
  • Translate healthcare technology capabilities into clear, value-driven outcomes for clinical, operational, and executive stakeholders
  • Ensure disciplined sales execution, including CRM management, forecasting, and pipeline hygiene
Requirements

The ideal candidate brings deep experience in healthcare sales or partnerships, with established relationships and credibility within Tribal Health or related safety-net ecosystems.

  • 8–12+ years of experience in healthcare business development, SaaS sales, public health, or strategic partnerships
  • Strong experience working with or selling into Tribal Health Organizations, Urban Indian Organizations, or Indigenous healthcare ecosystems
  • Established network and trusted relationships within Tribal Health or adjacent healthcare markets
  • Proven track record of generating pipeline and closing complex, multi-stakeholder healthcare deals
  • Strong understanding of healthcare systems, including EHRs, interoperability, patient engagement, and data workflows
  • Ability to engage effectively with executive, clinical, operational, and technical stakeholders
  • Strong consultative selling skills with long-cycle, relationship-based deal experience
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
  • High cultural humility and respect for Tribal sovereignty and community-driven healthcare models
  • Comfort working in fast-moving, mission-driven environments with distributed teams
  • Willingness to travel regularly to support relationship building and ecosystem engagement
Benefits

This position offers a competitive compensation package and a strong set of benefits designed to support both personal well-being and professional impact in a mission-driven environment.

  • Base salary: $152,166 annually
  • On-target earnings up to approximately $252,166 including variable compensation
  • Fully remote work within the United States
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees and dependents
  • Generous paid time off, holidays, and scheduled wellness days
  • Paid parental leave for birth and adoption
  • Annual wellness stipend for physical, emotional, and mental health support
  • Retirement and financial wellness support options (where applicable)
