This role combines financial modeling, business strategy, and operational insight to evaluate new opportunities and guide executive decision-making.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to build forecasts, assess investments, and develop financial frameworks for emerging initiatives.
This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working with data, and translating analysis into actionable recommendations.
The position offers significant exposure to corporate development, M&A activities, and strategic initiatives within a fast-growing healthcare environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong financial expertise, business judgment, and the ability to thrive in an evolving, entrepreneurial setting.

Accountabilities:

The Strategic Finance Manager will lead strategic financial analysis, business case development, and corporate development initiatives while partnering with leaders across the organization. This role requires the ability to build rigorous financial models, evaluate opportunities, and communicate insights clearly to executive stakeholders.

  • Partner with business leaders across operations, growth, network, and product teams to evaluate new ventures, expansion opportunities, partnerships, and strategic initiatives.
  • Build detailed financial models and business cases grounded in operational realities and unit economics.
  • Develop scenario analyses and sensitivity models to evaluate risks, opportunities, and strategic assumptions.
  • Translate complex financial analyses into clear recommendations and executive-ready presentations.
  • Lead financial planning and modeling for new initiatives from initial concept through pilot stages and scaling strategies.
  • Build analytical frameworks, KPIs, reporting structures, and data models to support emerging business lines.
  • Partner with executive leadership on M&A and corporate development activities, including opportunity evaluation, diligence, and integration planning.
  • Develop acquisition models, partnership analyses, and strategic memos to support leadership and board discussions.
  • Support capital raising activities, investor materials, financing analyses, and strategic planning efforts.
  • Collaborate with FP&A leadership on business planning, forecasting, and selected financial operations.
  • Work cross-functionally to improve decision-making processes and support broader finance initiatives.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a highly analytical finance professional with strong modeling capabilities, strategic thinking, and experience operating in high-growth environments. They should be comfortable managing ambiguity, working independently, and communicating insights to senior stakeholders.

  • 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, growth equity, top-tier strategy consulting, or strategic finance/corporate development within a high-growth company.
  • Exceptional financial modeling skills with experience creating clear, scalable, and audit-ready models.
  • Strong business judgment with the ability to identify when financial assumptions may not align with commercial realities.
  • Ability to move between detailed quantitative analysis and executive-level strategic recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous problems, prioritize effectively, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
  • Strong ownership mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create concise executive-level materials.
  • Experience working directly with data, including SQL proficiency or similar analytical capabilities, preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, mathematics, science, or another quantitative discipline preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare services, health insurance, value-based care, or related industries preferred.
  • Experience evaluating M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, or corporate development initiatives preferred.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary and incentive compensation.
  • Meaningful equity ownership opportunity.
  • Fully remote work environment with occasional in-person collaboration opportunities.
  • Generous paid time off.
  • 10 paid holidays.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) investment plan.
  • Direct exposure to executives, board members, and strategic partners.
  • Opportunity for career growth into senior strategic finance and corporate development leadership roles.
