Connected Logistics is seeking a VTC Lead to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Video Operations Center (VOC) & COOP task order. Working under general supervision, this individual will develop product and system requirements from inception to conclusion and create specifications for simple to moderately complex technical problems.
The VTC Lead serves as the Lead within the VOC, performing shift-lead duties, providing direction and guidance to VTC administrators, and maintaining the capability to perform all VTC administrator functions while supporting junior-level engineering tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Serves as the primary operational escalation point for SBC/CUBE and E911 issues, overseeing Tier 1–2 troubleshooting, validating administrative actions, monitoring system health, and ensuring proper triage, documentation, and escalation to Tier 3 engineering without performing engineering-level configuration changes.
- Participates in engineering-led maintenance, testing, and development activities as an operational representative, ensuring adherence to approved procedures and preventing unauthorized changes.
- Oversees shift-level reporting, consolidates SBC/CUBE and E911 operational metrics, supports audit sustainment and enterprise policy compliance, and ensures documentation quality.
- Provides on-shift training and mentorship, enforces SOP adherence, supports change management processes, and serves as the authoritative operational decision-maker for VTC services short of engineering authority.
- Must possess IT-I Critical Sensitive Security Clearance or Top Secret or Tier 5 (T5).
- Six (6) years of progressive Information Technology (IT) experience, including at least two projects in technical areas relevant to the Task Areas specified in the Statement of Work, with at least two projects occurring within the past three (3) years.
- Must possess a DoD-approved baseline cybersecurity certification such as CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent), and a comparable industry credential supporting telecommunications or network operations that allows for support to operational
- oversight, technical coordination, and effective communication between engineering and administrative staff.
Total Rewards Statement
